The implants placed in the buttock area are generally inserted into or behind the muscles in this region. The implants used in this surgery are not functionally different from breast implants. The difference is that these implants have a firmer consistency than those placed in breasts. Due to their firm consistency, these implants do not have a risk of rupture.
The surgery is performed under general anesthesia. After the operation, which is performed through the natural line between the two parts of the buttocks, there is no visible scar from the outside.
We recommend not lying on your back for the first week after surgery. Patients can return to social life within the first week after the operation. They can start sports and physical exercises after the sixth week.
